Geriatrics

Geriatrics is a branch of medicine that deals with the problems and diseases of old age and aging people. Med-Law Connection can assist with:

• Physician liaison: communicate with the physician(s) to coordinate care.
• Geriatric assessment: initial and ongoing clinical assessment to assess clients status related to medical condition, ADL’s (activities of daily living), living arrangements and medication management.
• Management of Medical and custodial care needs by facilitating appropriate community referral.
• Liaison between medical needs and financial administrator: assist with making sure medical needs are met and services/billing are appropriate to clients medical condition.
